    Sales and Partnerships Manager

    Description

    We are seeking an experienced and driven Sales and Partnerships Manager to join the Partnerships & Franchise arm of the business. You will be seeking new sales and opportunities to drive profits by tapping into our tech, our brand, and our operational playbook. This is a player/manager role, where you will be managing your own targets, and international acquisition. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a passion for the travel and prop tech space, thriving on achieving set targets 

    Responsibilities

    • Identify and research potential clients in international markets.
    • Leading and developing a small team of Sales Executives
    • Generate high-quality leads through outbound prospecting efforts, cold calling, and networking
    • Provide support and guidance to junior members of the team
    • Conduct outbound sales activities to introduce Houst and its offerings to potential partners.
    • Develop and nurture relationships with key decision-makers in target international markets.
    • Engage prospects through effective communication, presentations, and tailored sales pitches 
    • Managing the entire sales cycle and ensuring CRM is continually updated 
    • Attend Exhibitions and other networking events (these can be outside of working hours) 

    Requirements

    • Proven track record in outbound sales, lead generation, and business development, ideally with an international enterprise focus 
    • Previous success in meeting and exceeding sales targets in an international context.
    • Experience in the implementation of strategic sales plans
    • Strong analytical skills to track sales performance, and make data-driven decisions
    • Experienced in managing a high-performing sales team
    • Strong understanding of international markets, sales cycles, and cultural nuances.
    • Experience using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales enablement technologies.

    Sales Executive

    Job duties:

    • Efficiently manage your own inbound sales pipeline
    • Fielding enquiries from prospective clients with efficiency
    • Making calls to further qualify sales leads and pitch the Houst product
    • Maintaining a high call to sign conversion rate
    • Building your own outbound flow & comfortable cold calling
    • Working with other teams to ensure smooth onboarding process

    Requirements

    • 3 - 5 years Sales experience
    • High level of communication skills; in person, on the phone and written.
    • Naturally competitive
    • Is excited about using new technology to transform an industry
    • Sales or client-facing experience (required)
    • Experience working with Close (CRM) would be an advantage
    • Sales within the property industry would be an advantage but not required
    • Willing to work the occasional Saturday mornings (on a rota within the team)

    Client Success Executive (Cape Town Based)

    About the role:

    As a Client Success Executive, you will be responsible for providing world-class service. You will resolve customer inquiries through multiple contact channels such as email, phone, and chat. You will work with complex and not always standard issues, so thinking outside of the box, troubleshooting, excellent communication skills, and logical thinking are a must.

    What you'll do:

    • Provide world-class service to Houst customers and guests via telephone, email and WhatsApp.
    • Onboard new properties; complete client meetings to get new hosts set up for success on our platform.
    • Create and optimise listings for new properties on Airbnb
    • Be a point of escalation and resolve issues to the highest possible satisfaction.
    • Optimise occupancy and revenue for our hosts by making market driven decisions on pricing and listing optimisation
    • Conduct in depth performance reviews using data analysis tools Identify and use opportunities to increase customer retention and satisfaction.
    • Contribute ideas to further improvement of processes and overall experience of Houst customers and guests.

    Requirements

    • Preferable previous experience in customer service environment
    • Proven ability to communicate complex technical problems
    • Ability to think outside of the box and find creative ways to solve situations.
    • A working understanding of vacation rentals is a plus.
    • Confidence in decision-making, proactivity and owning your work
    • Previous experience working with a CRM
    • Work 5 days a week 9AM - 6PM (UK Time) - (Monday to Friday work pattern shift)
