    Risk Advisory – Cyber Infrastructure Security – Technology Sales – Senior Manager

    Job Description
    The main purpose of the job is to support the business leadership in the implementation of strategic plans. Focus on the management and delivery of client engagements, as well as sales and practice development. Develop high-performing people and teams, leading and supporting them to make an impact that matters, and setting the direction to deliver exceptional client service. 

    Specialised Technical Capabilities:

    Sets Strategy for and Sustains Implementation of Cyber Strategy Programmes:

    • Ability to lead clients through end to-end design and delivery of targeted, holistic, and sustainable cyber security technology strategy programmes.
    • Helps client adopt a long-term view of cyber risk management by advising on leading practices to align cyber risk with risk appetite, key industry issues, and strategic business priorities
    • Owns end-to-end delivery of executive level cyber strategy programs across large and complex accounts
    • Leverages a strong industry knowledge to advise clients on current and potential changes in regulations, cyber threats, and other key trends
    • Leads stakeholders in building support and buy-in from Board of Directors to successfully enable and sustain overarching cyber risk strategies
    • Builds a brand within a chosen domain and industry and is regarded internally and externally as a subject matter expert
    • Stays current on market trends and regulations, and anticipates risk / opportunities; advises client accordingly

    Qualifications
    Minimum qualifications:

    • Relevant Degree, honours or post graduate diploma, professional qualifications e.g. B.Sc, B.Com, or B.Ing/Eng or MSc

    Desired qualifications:

    • Advanced certifications, diplomas, professional certifications, advanced degrees in Cyber or information security - examples include:
    • CISM (Certified Information Security Manager)
    • CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
    • An industry leading qualification such as CREST, OSCE, OSCW, Crest, Check
    • CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker)
    • OSCP (Offensive Security Certified Professional
    • GCIH (GIAC Certified Incident Handler)
    • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or suitable hands-on experience is required.

    Experience:

    • 7 years in a client facing role; 5 of these in a management role
    • 10 -12 years of progressive experience with role(s) in a professional, consulting services (including Boutique Security Firm), public and/or private sector organizations is required.
    • Excellent understanding of an IP addressing and how it works (IPv4 and IPv6)
    • Deep knowledge and experience with ability to perform:
    • Security reviews of architecture and application designs
    • Mobile, complex application, infrastructure, as well as social engineering assessments and penetration testing
    • Exploit vulnerabilities to gain access, and expand access to remote systems
    • Assist with building, hardening, and maintaining systems used for penetration testing
    • Research cutting edge security topics and new attack vectors

    • Understanding of relevant Cyber/Information/Cloud security related laws and regulations

    Good technical capability and technical certifications in the following areas:

    Manager: Ethics – Risk, Independence & Legal – Internal Client Services

    Job Description
    Main Purpose of Job

    • Working closely with the Ethics Officer to meet the requirements and strategic objectives set by senior management. Particular focus on dealing with ethical concerns and complaints
    • Dealing with Inquiries and Complaints and liaising with Reporters.
    • Involvement with Ethics investigations under the direction of the Ethics Officer.
    • Producing Ethics Management Information for presentation to senior stakeholders.
    • Collaborating with team members and colleagues across Africa to ensure compliance with Deloitte’s global Ethical standards.
    • Contributing to the development and delivery of training programmes.
    • Liaising with Human Resources, Risk colleagues, Legal and other stakeholders.
    • Managing the Speak Up line in a timely and efficient manner, to maximize employees’ faith in the system.
    • Liaison with DTTL regarding the management of the Ethics Survey, roll-out of learning, and administrative aspects of the Speak Up
    • Assist with Ethics Programme (MFS4) assessment preparation
    • Preparation of Risk and Response Matrices
    • Monitor ISQM1 ethics risks controls

    Key Performance Areas:
    Strategic Impact 

    • Supports the implementation of the Ethics strategy 
    • Drives the implementation of strategy within area of responsibility by executing on plans set by Ethics Officer Senior Manager in all engagements / projects assigned by:
    • Driving micro and macro insights – to act as advisor on key trends that may impact existing / potential ethics performance 
    • Ensure seamless execution of systems of quality control processes
    • Builds relationships across Deloitte service lines 
    • Supports the Ethics Officer in implementing innovative solutions on projects / engagements to enhance / renew service offerings to internal clients
    • Proactively identifies opportunities that contribute to the ongoing development of an ethics culture 
    • Source content and stay abreast with the latest developments and requirements, and ensure that Deloitte Africa practitioners are kept up to date and informed
    • Proactively support the Ethics Officer on addressing and responding to emerging risk issues and actively contributes to developing a Risk Intelligent culture more broadly

    Managing investigations and ethics processes

    • Tailor and implement an ethics incident response and case management process in accordance with Global Ethics guidance ensuring local requirements and ethical culture are considered
    • Where required, conduct full and fair investigation of reported potential ethical issues and situations, seeking input from subject matter experts (e.g., Risk, Legal, other SMEs) and/or delegating to local investigators as appropriate, including a specific process for handling high-risk incident investigation and monitoring, taking appropriate and consistent action when a report is substantiated
    • Maintain oversight of ethics issues investigated 
    • Collect and analyse ethics reporting data, root causes, and trends from ethics reports leveraging insight for Member Firm action planning to mitigate risks identified

    Training & Coaching

    • Facilitates as many risk insights sessions as required to update the audit business and practitioners on current and/or emerging issues
    • Provides technical training and coaching to teams across the Firm
    • Write ethics communications

    Building Profile/ Eminence

    • Applies appropriate due diligence when attending to dedicated internal client queries or consults 
    • Identify ethics issues and potential impact on industry group and/service area and decides how best to communicate these to the industry group and/or service area leader 
    • Prepare and present specific topics as required

     
    Qualifications
    Minimum Requirements: 

    • Minimum Qualifications: Honours Law / Risk / Accounting / Arts
    • Desired Qualifications: Post graduate qualification in law, accounting, risk, finance or CFA level 1 upwards (preferable)
    • Minimum Experience: 4-5 years law or audit or risk or analysts experience with experience managing individuals
