    E-Learning Facilitator Refresher Training (Fixed Term)

    Below are some key responsibilities that you will be responsible for.

    • Assist with logistical and administrative duties related to refresher training scheduling.
    • Ensure availability of computers and necessary training material as well as prepare and update reports pertaining refresher courses.
    • Assist learners / employees on how to use these computers and programmes , should it be computer based training.
    • Process all documents accurately and timeously according to Kumba Iron Ore policies and procedures.
    • Comply with filing protocols for the various types of documents in terms of record keeping to ensure compliance and ease-of-access future retrieval.
    • Liaise with relevant personnel to arrange assistance regarding resources required (both equipment and people) to ensure successful task execution.
    • Provide assistance in own area per specific trained competence in accordance with company policies to the Supervisor and co-workers when instructed or during the absence of the responsible person, to ensure functional objectives are achieved.
    • Identify and utilize on-the-job learning opportunities to achieve the required competency levels. Attend all new relevant training and skills provided for the job
    • Ensure Learners under your supervision adhere to all relevant safety standards & procedures

    This role is in the Human Resources Department on a band P4 level and reporting to the Supervisor .

    Qualifications
    Qualifications:

    • Grade 12 Certificate / N3 Technical / FET Level 4 Certificate
    • ETDP (Train the Trainer)

    Knowledge & Skills required:

    • 1- 2 Years experience in an administrative role or facilitation experience will be (advantageous).
    • Experience in either facilitation, training systems administration or booking system administration . (Advantageous )
    • Basic to advanced computer literacy and knowledge of software systems .
    • Knowledge of training material and content.

    Warehouse Superintendent - Kolomela

    Job Description:

    • Manage the safe work execution, effective & efficient storage of items and engagement with end users to ensure alignment of key priorities and partnerships that enables value creation in the business 

    Safety, Health & Environment 

    • Identify ways to support specific safety, health & sustainability opportunities and risks and ensure transactional Physical Supply Chain activities complies with all Safety, Health & Environmental requirements.  
    • Coordinate the safe operation of the Physical Supply Chain environment, performing regular risk assessments, monitoring safety performance, and addressing any risks/issues immediately   
    • Ensure compliance with relevant policies and standards and particularly the Contractor Performance Management policy & procedures to enable achievement of gold-standard contractor safety performance  

    Delivery & Performance 

    General   

    • Manage the effective implementation of the Supply Chain strategy within the Physical Supply Chain warehousing environment 
    • Embrace an agile Supply Chain by being adaptive and flexible to accommodate and focus on emerging and changing business priorities  

    Supply Chain Strategy, Critical Tasks, Targets   

    • Provide input into the regional Warehousing strategy and translate it into critical tasks and performance targets 
    • Manage warehouse practices with the aim to achieve optimal process and people efficiencies  
    • Manage and schedule audits of the supply process (e.g., stock/cycle counting, safety reviews etc) 
    • Manage the budget associated with warehousing activities  
    • Ensure that stock levels are optimized and align to BU requirements  
    • Ensures operational efficiency across sites 
    • Inspects and monitors housekeeping practices at the stores  
    • Manage and resolve Global Shared Services payment queries  
    • Manage and escalate corrective measures on incidents of shrinkage or fraud that are observed 
    • Support the roll-out of the Anglo American Operating Model, via participation in site implementations and cross-site best practice sharing, to leverage tangible working capital benefits 

    Sustainability & Social   

    • Manage inventory optimization to decrease wastage at the operations by holding the right amount of inventory thereby positively impacting Anglo American’s carbon footprint   
    • ​Drive sustainable change through initiatives such as zero waste to landfill   
    • Identify opportunities to encourage host community participation in the PSC network  

    Commercial Value Delivery  

    • Provide input and guidance to sourcing and purchasing teams on optimal fulfilment strategies for commodity classes​ i.e., central v de-centralise, VMI, VOI, etc   
    • Socialise and embed culture of planning and fulfilment within areas such as purchasing, sourcing, end users, etc. ​   
    • Manage warehousing cost, maintenance and/or internal budgets​   
    • Provide input and guidance to sourcing and purchasing teams on optimal fulfilment strategies for commodity classes​ i.e., central v de-centralise, VMI, VOI, etc   
    • Ensure working capital reduction plans and targets are met 
    • Collaborate with regional commercial teams to deliver and embed inventory optimisation opportunities and provide leadership to identify and address issues impacting operational performance, including OTIF 

    Relationship Management 

    • Manage the integration with Operational Excellence, Logistics Development and Materials Planning increase performance and identified improvement areas   
    • Collaborate with BU management teams to ensure alignment of operational requirements with warehousing activities 
    • Manage the implementation of opportunities and plans to deliver on BU sustainability commitments 
    • Manage and maintain relationships with local and group functions to drive change 
    • Manage relationships with local employee bargaining and/or representative councils to drive operational improvement 

    People & Teams  

    • ​Develop and mentor team to ensure that agreed service levels are maintained, and service excellence is met  
    • Embrace a Supply Chain team culture of diversity and inclusiveness    
    • Collaborate with the CoE to develop and implement a regional Physical Supply Chain people capability framework and development plan and be responsible for implementing the plan in the region    
    • Support cross functional team interactions with internal stakeholders to execute warehousing activities   
    • Ensure relevant key performance areas are understood, agreed to and embedded as part of the Team+ culture ​      
    • Build team capabilities that will enable resilient and agile competencies with the aim to future proof Physical Supply Chain efficiency​     
    • Ensure adherence to performance standards / KPIs at the stores and institutes corrective action where necessary 

    Governance & Compliance 

    • Ensure personal and team compliance to relevant external and internal Anglo American and Supply Chain Governance requirements pertaining to all Physical Supply Chain Management activities   
    • Ensure personal and team compliance to applicable legislative requirements pertaining to all Physical Supply Chain Management activities in set portfolio

    Qualifications:

    • An undergraduate qualification - Bachelor degree level or equivalent, alternatively relevant tertiary qualification and proven track record of extensive practical experience in a role and context of similar complexity   
    • Experience: Practical experience in relevant field   
    • Desirable: A postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline OR a proven track record of extensive practical experience in a role and context of similar complexity   

    Technical Knowledge: 

    • ​Knowledge of Supply Chain management and interdependencies within a regional context (category management, sourcing & contracts, purchasing, physical supply chain and linkages to other functions) and specialist knowledge of warehousing, logistics and inventory management 
    • Safety standards, management systems and culture within warehousing & logistics as well as safe storage, preservation and maintenance of in-storage products and equipment. 
    • Knowledge of how to embed a more sustainable PSC (circular economy, carbon & water footprint reduction, inclusive procurement, doing business with responsible suppliers etc.) 
    • PSC digitalisation and data analytics opportunities, continuous improvement and optimisation
