    DC Manager - Kimberley DC Bread

    Responsibilities

    What we’re looking for:

    We are looking for a Distribution Center (DC) Manager to join our dynamic team. The role is physically located in Kimberley, Northern Cape reporting to the Regional Logistics Manager.

    The successful candidate will also be responsible for the following:

    • Stock Management - Accountable for total inventory of the unit, variances are measured as a percentage of Cost of Sales, with monthly stock takes.
    • Cost Management - Accountable for the cost management of the unit, must ensure expenditures are in line with budgets, decides on minor expenditure, ensure optimal vehicle utilization to curb distribution cost, manages overtime and other related expenditures.
    • Warehouse Management - Accountable for warehouse layout, maintenance, planning of movement, process flow, resource allocation.
    • Customer Service - Ensuring on time delivery and order fill rate, accountable to deliver on-time and in full, planning and liaising with replenishment department to ensure sufficient stock, also liaising with customers with regards to deliveries.
    • Distribution and Route Planning - Accountable for most optimal route planning and vehicle utilization.
    • Resource Planning - Accountable to ensure personnel and other resources such as MHE are utilized optimally to ensure limited associated cost.
    • System Management - Accountable to ensure all system procedures are adhered to and to ensure the daily smooth operation of the SAP Management system.
    • Personnel Management - Accountable to ensure that personnel are managed in terms of Discipline, Organisational Health, Engagement, Performance Appraisals, Cost
    • SHEQ Compliance - Accountable to ensure that all legislative requirements and compliance issues with regards to Safety, Health, Quality and Environment are met.
    • Admin Management - Accountable in terms of ensuring that all administrative protocols and standard operating procedures are adhered to.
    • Legal Requirements & Certifications - Accountable in terms of ensuring legal requirements and certifications for the site are obtained and maintained 
    • Improve Customer service and on time delivery
    • Deliver efficiency & financial control across all WHS by DC
    • Drive Inventory Controls / Review Volume (kg) growth vs yago
    • Deliver key identified productivity initiatives and Pipeline 2024
    • Deliver Capex Investments according to plan
    • Deliver Grains X-dock functionality
    • Embed OEP and work with Transformation
    • Ensure diversity & depth of bench strength for key WHS Roles
    • Deliver a reduction in Safety Related incidents
    • Governance Framework Compliance
    • GWP & EHS Framework Compliance
    • Sustainable WHS energy supply
    • OHS improvement plan

    Qualifications

    What will qualify you for the role

    • Grade 12
    • Business related diploma (Supply Chain, Business Management)

    3-5 years Managerial experience in FMCG environmentIn Depth Knowledge of the following:

    • Warehouse Management
    • Stock Management
    • Financial Management
    • Supply Chain Management
    • Asset Management
    • Personnel Management & IR Management

    Clerk Sales Administration - Paarl

    Responsibilities

    • Controlled administration of Trade Allowances & Fixed Rebate Spend > Accountable
    • Trade Allowance validation reports communication & value add to Business / Finance
    • Interpret trading terms > Executing actions
    • Internal, External and SARS audits > Accountable & Executing Actions
    • Providing Training to Team on Fixed Rebate Spend processes & procedures > Executing Actions
    • Continuous improvement to enhance the quality of outputs > Executing Actions
    • Service Level Agreements and Standard Operating Procedures (CRM, BI & SAP) – Executing Actions
    • Compile weekly & monthly reporting - Executing Actions
    • Compile monthly Rebate Validation Reporting on open balances
    • Administer Fixed Rebates on SAP including correct application of condition type and GL provision accounts
    • Compile sales reports on BI & WBS Budgets and calculate fixed rebate payable and ensure accurate Fixed Rebate Spend provision
    • Compile WBS Budget and maintained rebate agreements summary for area of responsibility
    • Administer customer requests and enquiries
    • Establish and maintain Internal Customer relationship

    Qualifications

    • Matric but a tertiary qualification in either Business Management / Finance would be advantageous
    • Commercial & Financial Acumen within an FMCG environment with a minimum of 2 years Sales Administration experience
    • Systems and Process Orientation
    • Accuracy & attention to detail
    • Ability to work under pressure
    • Proficient with figures
    • Strong work ethic
    • MS Office literate with intermediate to advance Excel skills
    • SAP & BI knowledge
    • Good communication skills

    • Do planning & organising well and manage your time
    • Problem Solving Skills
