    Responsibilities

    • Ensure all estimates are accurately and timeously responded to within the stipulated timeframe as per the Estimates Policies and Procedures
    • Contact all clients quoted on a daily basis, following up and reporting on opportunities.
    • Preparation of accurate estimates for customers offering the best possible logistics solutions.
    • Maintain rate records and database.

    Responsibilities

    • Advise and assist retailers with retail growth, profitability, and cash flow.

    Responsibilities:

    • Establishes seasonal demand and procurement plans

    Minimum Qualification

    Production Manager - Cape Town

    Role Description – Key Performance Areas (KPAs)

    • Process Management – The PM will implement procedures and processes (best practices) in manufacturing and assembly that will be measurable and transparent. The PM will manage the conformance of all factory staff to agreed operating procedures.
    • Accuracy – The PM is required to feed and process operational data onto a real-time, web-based ERP management system where all the metrics of the production processes, Bills of Materials, and inventory is contained and managed. A high level of accuracy and strong metric conversion abilities is required to execute the production plan. The complexity factor in this plant is challenging and requires a very analytical approach to meeting targets.
    • Pre-production – The PM will ensure that all components for the manufacturing process are always prepared and timeously ready for production. This includes the availability of labour, raw materials, packaging, moulds, and time.
    • Planning The PM will demonstrate the ability to logically apply and allocate resources to deliver planned outcomes and meet quality objectives. The PM will demonstrate a progressive and proactive approach to achieving company and production deadlines.
    • Quality – The PM will continuously implement and adjust processes to ensure that quality standards are met and conformed to by all plant operators.
    • Leadership – The PM understands the dynamics of a variably skilled factory environment and has the emotional intelligence, experience, and skills to motivate and empower staff.
    • Teamwork – The PM is a strong team player who develops positive cross-functional relationships with other team members that supports a positive working environment

    Requirements:

    • Tertiary or related qualification in production and/or operations.
    • Minimum of 5 years of working experience in production and operations.

    • Ability to coach and mentor employees on a one-to-one basis or as a group.
    • Excellent project management skills and technical/mechanical insight
