    Inventory Manager PnP Coastal West - Pinelands

    Job Advert Summary    

    • We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated Inventory Manager to join our team! As a Inventory Manager, you will monitor and report on the company’s inventory and action accordingly.

    Minimum Requirements   

    • Grade 12 (matric) or N3 – you must attach a copy of your Basic Computer Skills required,or,
    • At least 3 years experience in the Inventory / Admin department

    Duties & Responsibilities    
    Inventory control

    • Ensures stock count plan executed- National, Divisional and Ad Hoc counts
    • Ensures Exit management control
    • Ensures Dormancy, Obsolesce and Overstock controls
    • Analyses discrepancies in postings and advise Store management on corrective actions to follow
    • Ensures stock movement processes are followed e.g. Shop Use, RTC, Inter department transfers and Waste

    Merchandising Management

    • Prints / Analyses daily & weekly stock reports e.g. In-store category review (Dormant – weekly), negative stock and On-Shelf availability
    • Confirms availability of stock by location for Dormant- / Obsolete – and Exit stocks
    • Reports deviations on merchandise standards /admin to FAM, Fresh Foods and / or Store manager
    • Reports non-compliance on Inventory movement process to FAM, Fresh Foods and /or Store manager g. inter department transfers, interbranch, waste

    Administration

    • Verifies stock related reports / postings with Store manager
    • Analyses and investigates all operational stock and movement reports
    • Plans for ad hoc store requests for counts
    • Checks and maintains system integrity
    • Completes stock availability program daily and weekly

    People Management & Development

    • Coaches and supervises staff

    Staffing Officer Kempton Park - Eastport DC

    Job Advert Summary    

    • We seek a candidate that within the DC Finance team to manage the accuracy and compliance of the 3PL labour processes. The ideal candidate must have a strong DC Finance background, reporting and communication skills.

    Minimum Requirements   

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business Administration
    • 2-3 years’ experience in Finance or Expenses within Logistics / DC environment

    Duties & Responsibilities    

    • Staffing and Manning: Report on the DC core pools weekly, splitting the flex and core per role and investigate the variances between SDM pools, and pools submitted by the 3PL. Auditing of the 3PL files against employee details in SDM, record-keeping of all absenteeism with back up documentation on file and follow up on any outstanding documentation. Preparation of daily tactical manning in line with operation requirements and publish to the business in the daily tactical meetings
    • Roster Management: Auditing of rosters published by 3PL against what has been captured in SDM to ensure accuracy against the agreed shift patterns and adherence to the published rosters. Auditing of core pool shift patterns to ensure that 17th shift payment is accurate and in line with the wage agreement
    • Discretionary bonus management: Report monthly on employees that have not qualified for the bonus allocation because of absenteeism and sign-off with, 3PL General Manager, DC General Manager and DC Finance Manager. Discretionary bonus calculation performed quarterly and signed off with 3PL General Manager. Final discretionary bonus payment to be signed off with 3PL General Manager, DC General Manager and DC Finance Manager and issue PO to the 3PL in line with the budget and timely resolution of bonus pay queries
    • Labour expense management: Issue SDM labour purchase orders in line with what was published in tactical and the weekly staffing report. Follow up on PO releasing and invoice approvals and ensure that all requested extras are valid and signed off. Issue 17th shift purchase order and rate differential after sign-off with DC Finance Manager and in line with the wage agreement

    Divisional Agility:
