    Marketing Manager- Health (Digital App Campaigns)

    Key Purpose

    To create brand and communication solutions that enable business to meet their objectives by:

    • Driving and defining the implementation of brand and communication strategy and solutions.
    • Interfacing with senior business stakeholders to define and co-ordinate brand or communication strategy.
    • Understanding the impact of that strategy across the business.

    Areas Of Responsibility May Include But Not Limited To

    • Unpack complex business needs and to provide creative solutions considering all stakeholders
    • To create integrated solutions which are consistent across all brands/ businesses and communities, and which meet best practice principles

    Education And Experience

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 3-year undergraduate
    • Post graduate qualification in marketing is preferable
    • Experience
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Marketing or Communication
    • Experience in B2C marketing is essential
    • Experience with implementing Digital App Campaigns
    • Relevant industry experience, experience in Africa health insurance, healthcare and/or financial services

    Acquisition Marketing Manager - Vitality

    Key Purpose

    The marketing manager for the Growth portfolio is responsible all elements that fall under sales and acquisitions for Vitality. This includes driving growth marketing initiatives to increase sales. The Growth marketing manager combines strategic thinking with leadership, organisational and problem-solving abilities to meet the sales objectives of the business. This marketing manager oversees the day-to-day marketing and management of all sales and acquisitions elements, playing a key role in coordinating, planning and collaborating with various internal, external, marketing, business and project teams to deliver high-quality on all objectives set out by marketing and the business at large.

    Areas of responsibility may include but not limited to

    • Unpack complex business needs and provide growth solutions considering all stakeholders
    • To input into the sales and acquisitions strategy and manage all marketing deliverables on deadline
    • To ensure that solutions are in line with the Discovery marketing model
    • To lead, coach, and develop a team
    • Manage the sales budget
    • Build and maintain relationships with key businesspeople, both at a strategic and operational level

    Responsibilities
    Acquisition Marketing Manager Responsibilities

    • Manage sales and acquisition plans from concept to delivery
    • Manage acquisition channels: online and offline channels including search, display, social, direct marketing, and partnerships
    • Manage digital, corporate, employer and financial adviser streams
    • Optimise marketing acquisition to reducing the cost to acquire new business through driving new and unique sales initiatives
    • Working with the business and financial adviser teams to understand the day-to-day support
    • Use marketing intelligence, customer insights to analysis to understand audiences and the effectiveness of campaigns
    • Understand and report against sales strategy and KPIs, forecast, track, analyse and report on activity
    • Work with key stakeholders across agency and internal partners to find improvements to the campaigns and sales initiatives
    • Use and improve the campaign briefing process
    • Use test and learn approach to campaigns to ensure continued success

    Experience

    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Communication Strategist
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Marketing or Communications
    • Minimum 1 years' management or leadership experience
    • Relevant Financial Services industry experience is essential
    • Creative Writer with the ability to impact behaviour change
    • Acquisitions and Sales marketing experience is preferred
