    Africa Talent by Deloitte - NL Governance Risk Management & Compliance - Manager

    Job Description

    • You will be part of the blended project team comprised of specialists which could be Deloitte colleagues and/or SME’s from the client. Your specific contribution would be on how Risk technology can enable the integrated GRC functions to thrive at an organization. You would be acting as GRC translator between the client’s business and the technology specialists and are able to understand the client’s need behind the requirements and challenge these. You will also be able to challenge the technology specialists on the suggested solution for the defined requirements. You will support in making decisions without having all of the facts/information and knowing how to communicate this to various stakeholders.
    • Within your role you are expected to be able to flag and give the team lead a heads-up for possible problems whereby you also then act as a sounding board to find solutions. You should be open to share and learn skills, best-practices and experiences with the client and colleagues. You would get the opportunity to work on advising clients on their methodology, content and technology to enable their Integrated GRC strategy, work in multi-disciplinary teams and get a first-hand inside look at a variety of organizations and specialties.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 8 years’ experience with risk management, internal /external audit, GRC technology enablement/implementation or compliance background or affinity.
    • We would expect the candidate to have demonstrated leadership capabilities and experience building and collaborating with diverse teams
    • As a Manager you will be responsible for managing a team of professionals across multiple assignments
    • Due to current circumstances, there is no expectation to need to travel however once restrictions are lifted, we do expect that the candidate is open to travel in and outside of Europe on occasion/project basis
    • Fluent in writing and speaking English (Dutch not a must, but a great advantage.)
    • Skilled in at least one technology platform, whereby prior experience with technology platform such as ServiceNow is a prerequisite.
    • Projects are typically agile projects therefore experience with this methodology is a prerequisite.
    • Needs to be result orientated, motivate a team, resilient, creative, innovative, understanding and determined.
    • An ability to communicate (written and verbal) in Dutch is an added advantage.

    Africa Talent by Deloitte - AT Executive Assistant Team Lead

    Job Description
    Main purpose of the role:

    • We are looking for a dynamic team leader who will provide guidance, coaching and operational management to our Executives Assistants team of 30 and growing locally based Executive assistants supporting our Netherlands practice. The Teamlead will also form part of the broader group of team leads based in the Netherlands thereby having and being able to provide back up support to colleagues within the team.

    You will be responsible for the following:

    • Operational management of a team of (Senior) Management Support Assistants. Mainly focusing on team composition, recruitment & selection, content of the duties, quality of delivery and process monitoring
    • Streamlining and keeping up to date on uniform operating methods and processes, whilst actively suggesting and implementing improvements (to the process) for the quality and efficiency of (cross-departmental) processes and operating methods
    • Providing technical support to the team, thus safeguarding the internal quality standards of an Executive Assistant
    • Ensuring the correct implementation of the Global Performance Experience for Africa Talent Executive assistants. As a Team Lead you will have the dual role of a Team Lead and Career Coach. Encouraging continuous development and training of the team members
    • Ensuring the implementation of BS&O guidelines, realizing established KPIs and quality goals laid down in the Management Support Service Catalogue
    • Contributing ideas to the departmental vision, both requested and unrequested, and translating them to the operational plan in respect of the content and design of the services provided by the team

    Additional

    • Participating in projects, both within Management Support and across Business Support & Operations, to enhance the mutual collaboration and enhance work-process efficiency and effectiveness
    • Managing and implementing sub-projects and project work, analysing the results and providing advice in support of the Management Support policy and processes, including reports and project budgets
    • Being the technical go-to person for colleagues

    Qualifications

    • 8 years or more work experience with at least 2 years in a management experience is required
    • Previous Executive Assistant experience or hospitality experience is preferred
    • Management experience and coaching skills
    • Advisory skills as you will be required to manage a large number of stakeholders
    • Focused on collaborating with the various stakeholders and being able to communicate effectively at various levels
    • Accuracy and analytical skills
    • An ability to communicate (written and verbal) in Dutch is an added advantage.
