Job Vacancies in KwaZulu-Natal

Fun, Sun, Sea or FunSunSea as the locals like to say, Kwazulu Natal is the perfect mixture of fun and hard work.

The locals work, but they are also about conserving their energy for things that really matter and enjoying as much relaxation as they can get, with events like the annual Vodacom Durban July, the Comrades Marathon, the surfing Mr Price Pro. And the unbeatable festivities like Durban Jazz Festival, Facts Durban Rocks and of course beach parties, has the rest of the country descending on friendly Kwazulu Natal during festive seasons

However, indigenes of this province don’t just have fun and lay in beaches all day (that is only how they blow off steam), but they also work. As a matter of fact, the people in Kwazulu Natal are the very definition of work hard, play even harder.

Proof of this is in the fact that:

Why work in KZN you ask? Why else except? It is one of the best paying provinces in South Africa and KZN’s Durban is ranked as well amongst the best cities to land a job.

Durban alone, pull some weight when it comes to employment. First, it is ground zero for media and marketing take off. It is also the second most important manufacturing centre in South Africa, constituting 15% of the country’s entire national output.

Other major industries in Durban include sugar cane agriculture, forestry, and automative and petrochemical companies. It also has some stake in the tertiary sector, including as financial centre and in customer service.

Kwazulu Natal is bursting with opportunities, but to get a job there, you have to be confident and positive. Focus more on what value you are to add to the employer, not just getting the job.
