    Visual Department Manager - Western Cape

    Job description

    Key Competencies

    • Plan and implement visual marketing material to ensure the effective launch of promotions and special events in the allocated area in conjunction with the commercial departments
    • Communicate marketing material for promotions to department staff
    • Create visual displays in line with the visual manual, in-store booklet and beautiful VM booklets to maximize sales
    • Monitor current customer profiles and observe customers to influence visual displays and feedback changes or trends in allocated area
    • Manage the distribution and implementation of ticketing and décor in allocated area
    • Manage and maintain all visual equipment for allocated area
    • Provide input to the planning to improve the general ambiance of the sore and implement accordingly
    • People management – staffing, performance management, training & development, employee relatio

    Qualifications and Technical knowledge and skills:

    • Grade 12 or equivalent NQF level
    • Diploma/Degree or relevant qualification will be advantageous
    • 2 years visual experience in a retail environment
    • Retail and supervisory experience will be advantageous
    • Ability to perform manual and technical tasks
    • Spatial, dimensional and proportional orientation
    • Colour distinction and coordination
    • Visual discernment
