    Travel & Expense Analyst

    Job Description

    • Global Travel and Expense Corporate Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating a global team to deliver an effective and compliant Travel wellness and VIP travel support service for all Anglo American Group Functions and Business Units. This position requires flexible working, and availability across time zones and afterhours.
    • More of your responsibilities will include:
    • Ensure that the T&E ecosystems, procedures, and processes are adhered whilst managing the delivery of services for clients
    • Ensure that all safety protocols are well communicated to the VIP traveller and or VIP travel booker and provide support
    • Establish and maintain a trusting relationship with VIP travellers and ensure that their travel profiles are kept up to date
    • Continuously access if the service rendered by the service vendors is as per the SLA and address any service delivery discrepancies with the relevant provider
    • Report identified risks and incidents to your line manager and support any required mitigating action to be taken
    • Support the team in travel crisis alerting VIP travellers to be aware of safety-related issues in their travel destination.
    • In a travel crisis participate in the establishment of the crisis response team to provide for the evolving situation for all impacted travellers.
    • Support a well-controlled environment where risk is reduced to an acceptable level ensuring that Anglo American VIP travellers feel safe and secure when travelling
    • Manage the process to follow up with VIP travellers and their travel bookers to gain an understanding of their travel experience and build improvements into the future service delivery.
    • Deliver the Traveller wellness program ensuring all requests/queries are treated with urgency and resolved in a timely manner with mitigating actions put in place to prevent reoccurrence.
    • Act as the primary contact for the VIP traveller whilst travelling to address any concern or needs whilst travelling
    • Supporting afterhours and enable a 24/7 emergency response line
    • Pro-actively monitor and identify any travel, safety, or medical risks
    • Assist with booking and reconciling trips on behalf of the VIP’s as necessary
    • Assist with booking charter flights globally as required

    This role is at a Band 7 level reporting to the Global Travel and Expense COE Coordinator

    Qualifications

    • Relevant Diploma or Degree
    • Knowledge of Travel and Expense Management systems
    • Online booking systems SAP Concur, Egencia (or similar) knowledge

    Experience Required:

    • 3+ years in Travel & Expense Management
    • Travel Risk Services Management
    • Executive Travel Services
    • Travel Health environment

    Technical Knowledge:

    • Online booking systems SAP Concur, Egencia (or similar) knowledge
    • Results-oriented with excellent follow through skills
    • Comfortable engaging global teams with excellent collaboration and motivational skills
    • Excellent communicator passionate about the business and customer service
    • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusted relationships
    • Exhibits critical thinking skills, integrative skills and innovation
    • Excellent customer service orientation skills especially to VIP employees
