Test Analyst (Bellville) (Re-run) at Sanlam Group

This role has the primary responsibility to plan, structure and undertake system (business- and system process) and application testing within the Distribution Remuneration and integration with Source System environments. This role works closely with other business analysts, system analysts, IT development and Audit to ensure business requirements for new solutions/changes are met and implemented correctly.

• Identify, define and design New Functionality and Regressive test requirements
• Perform test scheduling and execution
• Identify Test Data
• Perform test case preparations and design assist with the scripting of automated test cases, conditions and checkpoints
• Perform test script execution and validations
• Perform test reporting based upon coverage and clearance statistics
• Perform test documentation compilation
• Perform test defect logging and reporting
• Risk identification and reporting
• Perform scope and test effort estimations
• Analyse risks, develop contingencies, and plan testing accordingly
• Extract information, as requested by clients, from different data basis
• Liaison with Development Team, System Analyst, Business Analysts as well as Middle Management/Project Management on errors, issues and risks
• Support and assistance with DRPA, MIS, DRS & Source System(s), i.e. Epsilon
• Trend analysis of incidents and proposals to Senior Business Analyst to eliminate problem areas

Qualification And Experience

• Min matric with relevant business and / or testing experience
• An Appropriate Testing Tertiary Qualification will be advantageous
• Working experience in Financial Services, particularly in a HR/Payroll/Remuneration environment
