Purpose Statement
To lead and oversee the team that processes the transactional activities associated to importing and exporting of goods through documentary collections and Letters of Credit.
To enable Management to authorise and release transactions by guaranteeing that all work in the Trade Department is processed accurately and complies to standards and governing principles.
Experience
MINIMUM:
5 years General Banking experience
Experience in trade finance / foreign exchange
Balancing and reconciliation
People Management exposure of at least 1 year

Qualifications (Minimum)
Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational in Grade 12 National Certificate
Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)
A relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting - Financial Accounting or Business Analysis
Knowledge

Current Incoterms
Relevant knowledge of documentary credits and the UCP600, documentary collections and URC522 as well as clean collections
In-depth knowledge on Banking systems
