Strong Debtors Clerk - Cape Town at CFW Fans

Main Duties, but not limited to:

• Plan course of action to recover owed money
• Keep tracking outstanding debts
• Locate and contact debtors
• Negotiate payoff deadlines and payment plans
• Handle customers' questions or complaints
• Identify gaps in the system and recommend solutions
• Build trust with debtors
• Update account status and database regularly
• Comply with requirements when legal action is unavoidable
• Assist with administration within the Debtors department

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 certificate with accounting as subject
• A higher certificate in accounting or equivalent will receive preference
• Knowledge and understanding of accounting & systems processes is essential
• Prior experience in a factory environment
• Minimum 5 years' experience in the debtor environment
