Specialist: Rehabilitation, Insolvencies and Deceased Estates at Capitec Bank

Purpose Statement

• To initiate, monitor and control suitable debt recovery processes, to ensure the optimal realization of various collateral types held across all product offerings, in respect of the relevant non-performing loan portfolio.

To provide specialist inputs (relating to Pre-legal Collections – Rehabilitation, insolvencies and deceased estates) towards:

• maximising recoveries and impairment releases 
• minimising recovery costs and impairment raises
• Financial assessment, negotiation and restructure of distressed debt

Qualifications (Minimum)

• Bachelor's Degree in Law

Experience

Minimum:

• At least 3 - 5 years in a banking environment comprising of at least 2 years in a Collections / Recoveries space

Ideal: 

• 5+ years in a banking environment comprising of 3+ years in a Collections / Recoveries space

Knowledge

Minimum: 

• The whole credit life-cycle
• Broad business knowledge and acumen
