    Specialist: Recruitment | Europcar | Bruma

    Position Overview    

    The incumbent of the position is responsible to facilitate and coordinate the end-to-end recruitment and selection process for all assigned vacancies and initiatives, providing recruitment advice and service delivery to support the recruitment of the right people with the right capabilities, at the right time, and at the right cost with a view to achieving organizational talent management and talent attraction objectives.

    Specific Role Responsibilities    

    Recruitment:

    • Working closely with line management on recruitment requirements.
    • Advertising and screening all assigned vacancies with requisite timelines.
    • Sourcing and searching for candidates.
    • Set up and conduct preliminary screening interviews or 1st round interviews for positions that fall within the role’s parameters.
    • Setting up appointments with line management to interview candidates where required.
    • Being the point of contact with the candidate/recruiter and line manager throughout the recruitment process and ensuring delivery of high level of professional service to all parties involved, ensuring feedback during all stages of the recruitment process.
    • Coordinating the negotiation around salary at recruitment stage if necessary, and liaising with the HR Admin team in order to get contracts of employment and offer letters signed off and out to the relevant parties.
    • Coordinating with stakeholders responsible to ensure that integrity checks (credit, criminal, reference, etc.) are conducted and all data has been stored for audit purposes within retention time frames.
    • Build and manage internal and external stakeholder relationships.
    • Support Training & Development with the recruitment of candidates for graduate/intern/ learnership programmes.
    • Liaising with recruitment agencies regarding vacancies.
    • Develop outcomes/ competency based interview questionnaires in order to support line management and build interviewing competency across business.
    • Full recruitment administration function.

    Job Analysis:

    • Analyse the skills and qualities required for each particular job and assist business to develop job descriptions/profiles to be used in recruitment activities and initiatives.
    • Ensuring job specs are signed off correctly, and that all processes have been followed prior to advertising a job or assessing any candidate against it.

    Assessment:

    • Coordinate the scheduling of behavioural, learning agility and psychometric assessments as relevant to the vacant position.
    • Reviewing assessment results and providing feedback to line management within the bounds of our assessment policy.
    • Liaising with assessment partners/service providers.
    • Maintaining the assessment results database.

    Qualifications and Experience    

    • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in a recruitment role, recruiting across entry level/junior roles, mid-level and skilled/technical roles where understanding of leadership competence and role complexity was required – essential.
    • Preference will be given to applicants who have worked in an in-house/corporate recruitment role in a similar environment previously. Bulk and high-volume recruitment is not for everyone. This role will offer exposure to complex or technical roles, as well bulk and high volume recruitment simultaneously.
    • Proven track record of successful “match making” – essential.
    • Prior job analysis and talent acquisition exposure – essential.
    • Exposure to psychometric testing and the responsible use of assessment results in recruitment and talent management – an advantage.
    • Experience using an eRecruit/HR system to manage the recruitment life cycle – preferred.

    Minimum Qualification

    • HR-related Degree/Diploma NQF6+ - essential.
    • Minimum Requirements
    • Microsoft Office proficient – essential.
    • In possession of a valid, unendorsed driver’s license – essential.
