    Social Media Manager

    About the job

    Main Purpose of Role

    • Partner with global consumer teams to define performance-driven social media strategies.
    • Align global social media efforts, across various teams and geographies to grow the brand.
    • Develop and execute global and regional consumer campaigns, end-to-end.
    • Establish an impactful social media presence across owned, earned and paid media.
    • Develop a clear understanding of our audience behaviors across a variety of social channels.
    • Understand the dynamics around social care and work with dedicated support teams as part of an omnichannel strategy.
    • Understand, measure, and improve our social engagement.

    Key Tasks and Accountabilities

    • Collaborate with teams in the US and internationally to develop strategies and tactics that support the needs of different regions.
    • Communicate with international teams on governance, best practices and deliverables.
    • Help scale our efforts by creating templates and aid in the standardization of formats, tools, etc.
    • Lead A/B testing across all consumer-facing social media channels.
    • Assist local market teams with campaign ideation and development, and raise the visibility and impact of their work to other teams worldwide.
    • Work cross-functionally (creative, support, product, brand) to educate teammates and put our best foot forward to meet awareness, acquisition, and engagement goals.
    • Be fluent in the latest features and trends across channels.
    • Create and maintain a content calendar with a good, consistent cadence of posts.
    • Publish/schedule social media posts through Sprinklr, our social media management tool.
    • Set up and manage paid campaigns across social media channels.
    • Monitor inbound social and take advantage of Sprinklr’s listening capabilities, and use these insights to create insight-driven campaigns.
    • Manage social media stories and tasks in Rally, our agile project management tool, and ensure timelines are accurate and due dates are adhered to by all stakeholders, ensuring on-time delivery of campaigns.
    • Work to grow our audiences organically, across channels, by producing enticing content and getting it in front of our target audience.
    • Maintain a high standard of quality across all social media channels, including copy, design, link tagging, etc.
    • Propose, adopt and work with new platforms and approaches as required.
    • Ensure social content aligns with our style guides and always ties back to our brand messaging.
    • Strictly follow and manage social media processes and policies.
    • Create social media measurement dashboards and reports that highlight performance metrics and key outcomes, including ROI metrics.

    Skills - Essential

    • Strong communicator with an appreciation and knowledge of the role organic and paid social media plays in the wider marketing function.
    • Social media native, with strong interest and skills in social media community management, content planning and distribution (organic and paid).
    • Proven, relevant digital content generation abilities.
    • Well-developed stakeholder engagement skills.
    • Experience in setting-up, monitoring and measuring paid social media campaigns, across social media channels.
    • Ability to develop exceptional digital creative, with a clear vision for how it can be used.
    • Proactive approach to projects and introducing new ways of working.
    • Exceptional writing skills and ability to translate complex topics into simple, digestible, audience-oriented copy.
    • Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
    • Collaborative team player with great interpersonal skills and the ability to work cross-functionally, and cross-regionally.

    Skills - Preferred

    • A good understanding of wider digital marketing principles.
    • A strong interest in using technology and software to increase efficiency.
    • An appreciation of visual communication.
    • An appreciation of digital, social and content strategies.

    Academic and Professional Qualifications

    • Degree educated.
    • At least 5 years experience working within a social media or content marketing role, preferably in a global team.
