Key Output

•  Ensure duties are carried out to ensure achievement of warehouse performance standards.
•  Comply to specifications of order type by customer within time and quality standards
•  Ensure warehouse procedures are carried out safely within the framework of compliance to SOP's.
•  Accountable for all warehouse assistant duties relating to KPI’s
•  Assembly of Hydraulic hoses
•  Safety management - comply with OSHA/SHEQ safety requirements
•  Conduct risk analysis before performing any task (Functional Knowledge 3)
•  Unloading of stock receivables and unpacking of stock receivables
•  Receiving of stock receivables and Binning of stock receivables
•  New material Allocations of stock receivables (Problem Solving 3)
•  Bin changes to overflowing materials in current stock location
•  Picking of outbound orders for internal and external customers
•  Packing of outbound orders for internal and external customers
•  Dispatching of outbound orders for internal and external customers
•  Cycle counting of current stock, Bin audit in preparation of cycle count
•  Inbound and Outbound coordination of trucks
•  Internal and external credit returns (Problem Solving 3) must be some admin
•  Claim of short receivables (Problem Solving 3) must be some admin
•  Block stock management (Functional Knowledge & Problem Solving 3)
•  Sales order stock management (Functional Knowledge 3)
•  Contamination control, Housekeeping, Maintain 5 S operating conditions, Report Management
•  May have to solve customer related queries but at a low level (Problem Solving 3)
•  Ability to carry out stock count activities
•  Some will be required to drive a forklift (Functional Knowledge 3) training required
•  Verify against HIS to validate correct specifications / requirements
•  Assemble hose to Caterpillar specification, Tag hose with correct information,
•  Seal and despatch as required, Sign off hose assembly in hose register
•  Build hydraulic hoses per sample as and when required

Qualification, Experience and Competencies

•  Grade 12
•  A technical qualification would be an additional advantage
•  Customer service orientation and effective customer relations
•  Be able to work independently as well as in a team
•  Process compliance orientation, Ability to follow instructions 100%
•  Warehouse/logistics experience/ Warehouse assistant duties
•  Safety compliance, Attention to detail; Relevant Troubleshooting capability
•  Basic knowledge of parts, Completed hose training / certified, Hose assembly
•  Effective verbal and written communication skills
•  Effective interpersonal relations
•  Attention to detail
•  Basic numeracy skills
•  Ability to work under pressure
•  Honest and reliable
•  Computer literacy
