Senior Specialist Category Management - Local Production - EM South at adidas Group

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

• Create and execute a graphic t-shirt and fleece programme
• Create and co-ordinate all local production requirements for Halo stores, local events and local partners

Key Responsibilities:

• Using the global range develop a Graphic t-shirt and fleece assortment across all Categories and Channels (Own Retail and KA’s)
• Develop a Graphic tee replenishment programme
• Working closely with our preferred agency and Own Retail to develop a hyper local Key City product offer for Halo stores (tees, fleece and accessories)
• Assist with the local production / badge ups for all adidas sponsored events (Cape Town Marathon, Otter Trail, UTCT)
• Manage the local badging process and locally developed product ranges for adidas sponsored partners (Orlando Pirates)
• Plan, prepare and communicate all product development timelines and execute accordingly
• Work closely with all internal and external stakeholders to understand requirement and execute ranges accordingly
• Work closely with local sourcing and factories to ensure best pricing and the shortest lead times possible
• Manage the process of creating assets for all local production articles across all categories for .com use

• Range Building experience
• Garment construction knowledge
• Basic Sourcing knowledge
• Ability to design with a strong eye for detail
• Project management and co-ordination experience
• Structured, organized and process-orientated way of working
• High level of collaboration & strong communication skills
• Advanced user of MS Office suite of products

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications: 

• A garment manufacturing/ development tertiary qualification
• 5 years range building and product development experience
• Graphic and product design experience advantageous
