    Senior Project Administrator

    Requirements

    • Grade 12
    • 1 year project management certificate or relevant national diploma
    • Minimum 3 years’ experience in an events project management/permitting environment
    • Computer literacy and proficiency in Ms Office Applications
    • Code B Driver’s License Advantageous
    • Willingness to work outside of normal working hours
    • Willingness to travel to various locations for work purposes
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines within specified timeframes
    • Ability to engage a range of stakeholders
    • Understanding of film and events permitting regulatory processes

    Key Performance Areas

    • Comprehensively project manage all facets of an event/function in line with corporate events strategy, standards and guidelines
    • Assist with arranging and running of events
    • Execute events plan in line with corporate policy re events
    • Compile technical specifications for service providers/services/goods required to run the event and procure these via Supply Chain Management system.
    • Assist with preparations of presentations, reports and correspondence around event briefs
    • Draft budget pertaining to assigned event
    • Evaluate proposals by suppliers for goods and make recommendations to Supply Chain Management.
    • Ensuring compliance with CCT policies, processes and procedures for the initiation, planning and implementation of film/events permitting projects
    • Reporting on non-compliance with permit conditions
    • Providing costing quotations to billing and invoicing
    • Scheduling project meetings and co-ordinating the engagement of stakeholders through planning meetings, site visits and assessments etc.
    • Monitoring of performance of job queues in relation to tracking permit applications
    • Managing relations between the production company representatives, City Services and other stakeholders
