Senior Professional Officer – Business Systems at City of Cape Town

Requirements

• A relevant BTech or First Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Business /Systems Administration or a related field.
• Five (5) years or more relevant experience, government experience advantageous.
• Computer literacy (knowledge and experience on MS Office) with advanced experience in Excel
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

Key Performance Areas

• Facilitate and coordinate the development and integration of Property Transactions Systems.
• Scoping business requirements for new systems.
• Facilitate the integration of component subsystems in order to enhance, improve and support business processes.
• Testing and modifying systems to ensure that that they improve and support business processes.
• Analyse and translate data into valuable insight to inform decision-making.
• Manage and monitor internal stakeholder relationships to align on priorities, scope and timelines of requested products.
