Senior Manager, Product Control TPS at Standard Bank Group

JOB DESCRIPTION

Product Control is responsible for the reconciliation and substantiation of the balance sheet and income statement for trading activities of the front office areas they are assigned to, including daily/weekly P&L and validation process. The income statement and balance sheet is signed on a monthly basis for group finance and annually for the purposes of the external audit. 

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualification required

• Honours Degree in Finance and Accounting
• CA (SA) or CIMA

Experience required

• 5-7 years experience in strong understanding of finance principles. Solid understanding of broader finance environment as well as broad based trading and finance system knowledge and the flow of information from source system through to the ledger.
• Experience in CIB Products
• Leading finance projects and provide detailed explanations around P&L performance to Business heads.
