    Senior Manager LCCT

    Short Description / Purpose of Job

    • The purpose of the role is to lead and manage the Logistics Command Control Tower (LCCT) Department to ensure that the services offered consistently meet stakeholder expectations, across the Commercial and Mobility marketing Channels. The role should provide strategic and tactical guidance, to ensure that the CDF Department and LCCT team operates optimally, through rigorous execution of the appropriate processes, supported by fit-for-purpose technology. Strategically aligning LCCT with the business to optimise cost efficiencies whilst enhancing the customer experience. 

    Recruitment Description / Key Accountabilities

    • Ensure conformance to all safety procedures and develop a risk register for mitigation purposes in order to monitor where corrective and preventative actions are taken 
    • Translate CES and Mobility strategy into departmental strategy and ensure the effective implementation of strategies for areas of responsibility.
    • Active inputs, review and implementation of S&OP and Product prioritisation plans
    • Develop and manage multiple service level, quality, and performance targets.
    • Initiate Continuous improvement customer-centric service offerings balanced with cost-effective processes, delivered utilising an Agile philosophy.
    • Manage stakeholder relationships through constant communication on service status; conduct continuous improvement by facilitating effective root-cause analysis; and provide prompt feedback to stakeholders with regards to incident resolution 
    • Proactive inputs into the development and implementation of divisional and departmental policies, standards and procedures.
    • Identify development and competency gaps within the team; and lead and facilitate applicable interventions that will close the identified gaps.
    • Develop a productive and rewarding work environment that aims to motivate employees to execute their work with excellence.

    Formal Education

    • Minimum University Bachelor’s degree,
    • Post Graduate degree or Master’s degree will be advantageous
       

    Min Experience

    •     12+ relevant years (with Bachelor’s qualification)
    •     10+ relevant years (with Master’s qualification), 
    • of which 5 years should be managerial.
    • Wish:
      •     Logistics Operations Experience in the petrochemical industry with exposure to transport management systems
      •     Demonstrated Analytical experience.
      •     Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Automatic Planning and Scheduling experience will be advantageous)
