    Senior Manager - Bill to Cash MTN Global Connect

    Key Deliverables:

    The Senior Manager: Bill to Cash will be accountable to achieve the following objectives:

    • Assume a financial leadership role at Bayobab responsible for the billing to cash management cycle, including leading the automation and transformation initiatives to drive efficiency and agility for the finance function.
    • Manage the finance operations of the mobile, fixed and fibreCo wholesale function including the monthly invoicing, dispute management, review of various reconciliations and performance reports, accounts receivable, collections and credit management.
    • Ensure the collections process is followed with regards to overdue payments in line with the credit policy, arranging payment plans to achieve target of recoveries as per the KPI’s.
    • Lead and drive the cashflow optimization program.
    • Review monthly performance and processes which may affect the company’s ability to identify, monitor or collect revenue (new system implementations/upgrades, new product roll outs, etc.) and provide feedback to senior management.
    • Maintain a high standard of the control environment (including segregation of duties, supervision and review) and ensure compliance to governance protocols and policies (committee approvals, DoA, process etc).
    • Forecast cash flows from the wholesale business and ensure that the cash flow is well managed in terms of inflows.
    • Review investigation reports on identified error or leakage to determine the revenue leakage root cause and further discuss with the related department for further investigation or corrections.
    • Review monthly financial performance reports against KPIs and provide feedback to senior management.
    • Monitor and proactively advise on financial risk evaluation and mitigation measures, in conjunction with the risk and compliance function.
    • Provide insights on cost and revenue leadership initiatives including resource allocations.
    • Interaction with senior management on various finance matters relating to the finance operations.
    • Participate in the wholesale business review meetings and provide updates.
    • Management of the internal and external auditors for timely delivery of the audit requirements and opinions.
    • Provide leading practice insights for financial performance improvements and value-driving actions.
    • Support senior management in preparing various presentations and regular meetings with functional heads to drive performance.
    • Continuous collaboration and active engagement with group cross functions, Opco finance, business finance and commercial teams.
    • Recruit and evaluate staff ensuring appropriate skills are brought into the finance department.
    • Ensure appropriate skills development through training, mentoring and coaching.
    • Set clear objectives and manage performance of the finance team.
    • Leading and motivating employees.

    Role Deliverables:

    • Integrity of financial data and reporting.
    • Financial governance and compliance with Group financial processes, policies and procedures.

    Job Requirements:

    Education:

    • Qualified CA, ACCA.
    • Minimum 4-year bachelor's degree in finance, Commerce.
    • MBA would be advantageous.

    Experience:

    • 5 years’ managerial experience in leading a Bill to Cash function of a large multinational company.
    • 5 years post article experience, preferably in a telecoms environment.
    • Previous audit experience at an audit firm is advantageous.
    • Experience in managing a high performing team.
    • Experience in Oracle ERP, ARCS.
