Senior Application Developer at Datacentrix

• A Cape Town client is in need of a C#.Net Senior Application Developer on a 24 months fixed term contract to take full responsibility to understand and interpret business requirements into well-designed technical solutions within a DevOps environment. You must be able to work with the latest technology and applicable frameworks. Lead and mentor the developers and drive implementation of technical solutions and resolution of software defects that arise. The senior application developer must also ensure that a high level of security focus is embedded in the SDLC process.

Qualification / Education Required

• Tertiary Degree/Diploma in ICT
• 10 plus years’ software development experience and broad range of development technologies/products, standards, tools and methodologies.
• Experience in application configuration, maintenance and support

Advanced experience in the following:

• C# and .Net Core; MS SQL
• REST, JSON, SOAP, XML
• MVC, MVVM, UML and Visio
• ReactJs/Blazer, jQuery, NodeJs
• MicroServices
• Code scanning tools like SonarCloud
• Advanced Agile experience
• Experience in Azure DevOps Services
• Experience with Unit and Performance testing
• Experience in leading developers
• Coordination and leadership skills
• Strong verbal and communication skills

Desirable requirements

• ITIL
• GraphQL
• Mobile development experience (Android, Xamarin Forms)
• Supervision / Control / Influence
• Under guidance and evaluation of Application Development Manager
• Within general guidelines or functions as defined in the job description
