    Reward: Head of Analytical

    Essential duties and responsibilities:

    • You will lead and manage all aspects within the Analytical team which forms part of the Reward team. As the Analytical-Lead you will form part of the senior leadership team within Reward, in conjunction with the Reward Leader and Tax, Legal and Governance-Lead. 
    • In addition, you will fulfill the role of the chief operating officer in the Reward team and be responsible to lead and manage our revenue (billings and forecasts) and reporting thereof to the Reward team and the wider Tax leadership team.

    Your main duties will include (as expanded on below): 

    • technical and client delivery responsibilities
    • client management
    • marketing and new business development in your area of expertise
    • development of new products and processes in your area of expertise
    • contribution to thought leadership
    • contribution to internal training and knowledge management
    • management and development of all staff within the Analytics team and 
    • improvement of operational efficiencies.
    • Technical and client delivery responsibilities.  Your typical activities include: remuneration committee advisory work within your field of expertise, advising clients on their total reward models (fixed and variable pay), pay progression models, design of incentive plans (short- and long-term), strong focus on analytical work in the fair pay space (fair pay analysis, gender pay gaps etc.), remuneration benchmarking, cost analysis for incentive plans, performance condition calibration and advice, non-executive director pay, advice on corporate transactions and other bespoke remuneration arrangements (unbundlings, special dividends, turn around incentives M&A etc.).
    • Client management: you actively lead the engagement (either holistically, or from an Analytical perspective) and manage the client relationship and PwC internal contracting processes.
    • Marketing and new business development: you actively support client acquisition and targeting activities and development of new business and solutions within your area of expertise. 
    • Managing analytical inputs of the Reward team’s thought leadership publications and actively contributing to thought leadership and other client focus activities (e.g. RemCo round table events, institutional investor roundtable events etc), in conjunction with the other members of the senior leadership team within Reward.
    • Internal training and knowledge management in your area of expertise: your identify training needs within your area of expertise and take responsibility for knowledge management of the Analytical team (for example: you develop or maintain “PwC houseviews” where required, in conjunction with the rest of the senior Reward management team).
    • Staff management: you lead and develop the staff within the Analytical team.
    • Improvement of operational efficiencies: you identify how the Analytical team can work more efficiently (for example: maintenance and improvement of the remuneration database used by the Reward team, including the management of relationships with external service providers).
