What You Have Done Before
Baseline:

•     At least 5 years Retail Maintenance or Retail Construction related experience within the Petroleum industry
•     BSC/ B Eng. or B Tech Mechanical/Civil Engineering/ Quantity Surveying
•     Deep knowledge of Construction Regulations and SANS Building Standards (municipal by-laws, associated acts and regulations)
•  

Advantageous:

•     Have Registered with professional body in the Built Environment (e.g. ECSA, SACAP)
•     Demonstrated ability to work independently
•     Ability to work successfully in an ever-changing environment and navigate ambiguity

What You Will Be Doing

•     Proactive coordination between various internal & external stakeholders managing (internal approvals, regional agreement with stakeholders, engage with external for drawings, councils’ submission, running parallel, obtain costings for the project).
•     Conduct site evaluation through Technical & Site Risk Assessment
•     Ensure Engineering compliance with Engen & National standards & legislation 
•     Be able to initiate project from proposal stage to finally the complete built product 
•     You will create new volumes generating income for Engen and for new sites.
