    Regional Manager

    Job Description

    The Group is focused on providing specialist-orientated, multidisciplinary services across the continuum of care in such a way that the Group will be regarded as the most respected and trusted provider of healthcare services by patients, medical practitioners, funders and regulators of healthcare in each of its markets.

    MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

    To manage and implement the operational strategy of the business on a regional level to ensure that the aims and objectives of the department are met. This is achieved through the creation of employee engagement, multiple client relationships, strong operational and logistical management, as well as fiscal discipline.

    Required Education

    ESSENTIAL EDUCATION

    • 3 year Diploma

    Required Experience

    ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

    Emergency Management Services experience or experience gained in a similar operational environment.

    Desired Experience

    • At least 5 years in a management or supervisory position
    • Operations management
    • Financial management
    • Human resource management
    • Exposure to a sales and marketing environment
    • At least 5 years EMS or related operational experience
    • Previous experience in healthcare
    • Previous exposure to Occupational Health and Safety
    • Computers and Microsoft Office

    Required Job Skills And Knowledge

    • Human Resources Management – BCEA, IR, payroll management, leave management, performance management
    • Ability to perform client presentations, liaison, relationship development
    • Occupational Health and Safety – understand OSH act and risk management
    • Business Management Skills – understand general business management principles
    • Computer literacy in the Microsoft Product Suite
    • Financial Management – Income and expenditure, income statements, credit card claims, creation of budgets, data analysis, adherence to budgets
    • Management of performance and the creation of employee engagement
    • Marketing and Sales – ability to present to clients, use of presentation tools
    • Operations and Logistics
    • Compilation and submission of reports and ability to manage the administrative requirements
