Raw Material Controller - Eloff at AFGRI Equipment

Description

The role is responsible for the end-to-end process of raw materials on-site.

Requirements

REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/TRAINING    

• Grade 12  
• A relevant tertiary qualification

REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE            

• Minimum 5 years work experience in a similar position and industry
• Raw material stock control and stock management experience
• Animal Feed Manufacturing will be an added advantage

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS         

• Maintain FIFO principles
• Ensure uninterrupted supply of raw materials to production
• Managing stock lead days within set parameters
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders including
• Resolve supplier complaints
• Limit stock losses to a minimum and provide explanations of stock deviations
• Ensure timeous and accurate reporting of stock claims
• Conduct effective and regular stock takes
• Maintain internal controls and procedures and ensure complaince
• Ensure accurate and timeous planning and recording of stock
• Ensure timely issuance of raw material orders/call-off instructions and promptly inform suppliers about the orders/call-off instructions
• Verify the accuracy of received weights and accurately record all stock intakes.
• Implement controls for stock claims and promptly dispatch claims to internal stakeholders.
• Accurate and timeous recons and planning
• Ensures monthly health and safety reports are done
• Obtain V number and MSD (Safety Data Sheet) for any raw materials before request is send to Master Data to load
• Ensure that allocated work is clean and complete cleaning register
