Qualified Vehicle Technician at Rola Motor Group

Job Advert Summary    

• We are looking for a qualified motor technician to join our team at our Toyota branch in Somerset West. The technician is responsible for diagnosing and repairing malfunctions in defined fields, and servicing all the current overall vehicle systems in Toyota's car and van's range.

Minimum Requirements    

• Min Grade 12
• Unendorsed Drivers Licence
• Computer Literate
• Proof of Qualification as Technician (Toyota advantageous)
• Proven experience in a volume brand
• Successful demonstration of competency
• Analytical skills and problem-solving ability
• Attention to detail and time management skills
• Solid knowledge of fault finding and diagnostic machines
• Excellent customer orientation

Duties and Responsibilities    

• Conducting work preparation and fault diagnosis
• Perform repairs and maintenance of vehicles
• Conduct final inspections and functional tests
• Prepare relevant reports for vehicle hand-over
• Ensure quality standards are met in order to achieve the Standards of Excellence
