    Provincial Co-Ordinator

    Qualification & Experience:

    • Certified Grade 12
    • Certified ID document
    • 3 Work related references
    • Proof of vaccination card
    • A Diploma/ Degree in Nursing
    • Proof of driver’s license
    • Proof of all Nursing certificates
    • Willingness to use own vehicle
    • Willingness to travel in the Province
    • 5 years’ experience with leading health programs at district level, and 5 years partner relationship management experience

    Required minimum experience

    • 7 years plus experience with district or Provincial level health care programmes management and stakeholder/ relationship management.

    Technical and Behavioral Competencies:

    • Good interpersonal skills, team player and performance oriented
    • Ability to work under pressure and adhere to the set standards of the programme
    • Numerical skills and computer literate

    Key Performance Area:

    Stakeholder Management

    • Establish strong working relationships with Department of Health, Government Departments, Traditional leaders, local community leaders and Implementing partners to smoothen ADAPT implementation
    • Arrange, attend and represent ADAPT at all stakeholder meetings
    • Coordinate ADAPT implementation with DOH and other Implementing partners
    • Attend key meetings and provide feedback sessions

    Project Management

    • Develop Direct Service delivery project plan
    • Manage deliverables according to the project plan
    • Support staff recruiting and training
    • Lead and manage DSD implementing team
    • Provide technical support to Partner teams in the province
    • Establish project schedule and monitor implementation
    • Assign tasks to project team members
    • Communicate with RTC Senior management
    • Ensure proper data management
    • Manage fleet and resources

    Program Output

    • Monitor all project activities, targets, expenditures and progress towards achieving ADAPT outputs;
    • Recommend further improvement to field activities;
    • Provide feedback to Senior Management on project strategies and activities;
    • Suggest strategies to Senior Management for improving efficiency and effectiveness of ADAPT implementation by identifying bottlenecks and developing plans to minimize or eliminate such bottlenecks;
    • Report weekly progress on all field activities to Senior management;
    • Assist implementing teams and partners with monitoring tools use.
    • Perform other duties as required

    Staff Management

    • Offering constant feedback to staff and keeping everyone in sync
    • Ensuring adequate staff performance
    • Keeping staff morale high and taking steps to improve retention
    • Managing staff schedules and assigning individual responsibilities
    • Ensuring workforce is satisfied in their roles

    Reporting

    • Provide regular reporting on project activities to Senior management
    • Present regular reports to DoH, Government Departments and partner Forums
