Property Bookkeeper - JHB at Measured Ability Group of Companies

Key requirements

• Matric or NQF level 4
• Diploma in Finance/Bookkeeping
• 2-3 years of property bookkeeping experience
• Proficient in MS (Excel)
• Xero Accounting software experience 
• Previous experience in  property environment (Leasing, assisting with tenant queries)

Key function

• Full responsibility of general ledger
• Creditors and expenses management, fixed asset management, financial processes
• Preparing and reconciling creditors payments in and outside 
• Preparing and reconciling of cash books
• Ensuring transactions are accurately recorded in the GL
• Recons of GL accounts
• Ensuring fixed assets are accurately recorded and depreciated
• Ensuring expenses are minimized, budgeting and financial planning
• Create and implement policies, procedures and workflows to create operational efficiencies and minimize manual processes
• Preparation of all tax returns (VAT and dividends Tax)
• Resolve tax queries from SARS
• Assist in overall tax compliance
