Project Manager - Cape Town at Servest SA

• MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF 5 YEARS OPERATIONS EXPERIENCE IN CCTV , ACCESS CONTROL, BUILDING MONITORING AND PARKING INDUSTRY.

Minimum Requirements    

• Grade 12 / Clear criminal record;
• South African citizen
• Reside in Cape Town;
• Diploma in Business Management ;
• Own vehicle and valid driver’s licence;
• Minimum of 5 years’ Operations experience in the CCTV, ACCESS Control, Building Monitoring and Parking industry;
• Proven track record in managing technical projects;
• Ability to work independently and manage high value portfolio;
• Good understanding of project finances and Business Acumen;
• IR / HR knowledge;
• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on building rapport with customers;
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills and strong negotiation skills;
• Basic knowledge of Health and Safety Act of 1993;
• Solid Microsoft Office Suite skills;
• Experience in understanding technical drawings. CAD experience is an added value;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Good IT infrastructure knowledge

Duties & Responsibilities    

• Responsible for all activities of the Projects Team;
• Time Management: You will be working with employees, customers and management, often managing multiple projects at once;
• Manage daily activity and planning/scheduling for Projects Team(s) by implementing, maintaining and enforcing policies and procedures;
• Ensure that client service levels are maintained to the highest possible standards and pay prompt attention to customer complaints with timeous feedback;
• Mathematical and Budgeting: Project managers are generated and maintain budgets in related to the projects. Reporting on budget utilisation for each project;
• Comply with, implement and maintain all company systems, policies and procedures as well as Corporate Governance;
• Develop forecasts, financial objectives and business plans;
• Accountability: Ultimately accountable for all projects of the business units and ensure all projects meet the objectives agreed to in scoping;
• Strong analytical skills: You will need analytical skills to be able to solve problems that may come up during a typical work day. Data to be analysed and decision making that affects the project on a regular basis;
• Ensure compliance to Health and Safety requirements;
• Technical background: A strong technical background is essential in understanding the scope of the projects. The projects are of a technical and infrastructural nature;
• Manage chemical, PPE, uniform and equipment costs to ensure profitability per project allocated;
• Working alongside the Regional Operations Managers to achieve regional objectives and targets;
• Generating sales for One-off projects from existing and new clients;
