Programme Reporting Analyst at MTN

Provide reliable reporting and achievements (per milestones) to support, evaluate and monitor programme office activities
Key Performance Areas:
Programme Reporting

•  Develop report, dashboards and visualisations within the Technology environment to respective stakeholders and governanace forums
•  Design visualisations and reports for specific themes
•  Design and implement reporting to facilitate enhanced understanding of performance and the drivers
•  Standardize monthly and weekly reports and dashboards across the technology area
•  Continuously refine the information, reporting, and analytical needs by optimising data dissemination
•  Ensure effective and quality reporting and functional analytics is delivered to the business clients to facilitate effective decision making
•  Interpret data and develop relevant recommendations based on data analysis findings
•  Ensure delivery of validated information and reporting to business users.

Programme Operations

•  Review consolidated reports and dashboards and reports including finance and risk
•  Highlight key diviations to plans, issues, drivers, trends and associated impactes basd on imputs from subject matter experts
•  Facilitate programme tracking and on-going prioritization to deliver overall programme benefits and value

Customer

•  Build strong internal relationships with the subject matter expert and the leadership team within the Technology division 
•  Collate and synthesize all inputs necessary to support technology programme management office reporting and tracking requirements
•  Partner with the business and ensure in-depth understanding of key drivers in order to drive quality reporting
•  Ensure that data quality initiatives are implemented in the relevant business units
•  Arrange regular sessions with customers to inform, educate and facilitate feedback
•  Be the single point of contact for Technology Programme office with regard to data dissemination and reporting.

Quality Management

•  Work consistently according to standard operating procedures
•  Understand and communicate the consequences of not maintaining data quality
•  Identify areas where the quality of reporting and analytics may be improved
•  Analyse situations and take necessary action to ensure quality is maintained
•  Seek feedback from clients/ stakeholders and continuously seek ways of improving on quality
•  Monitor daily trends to ensure data quality is sufficient to ensure accurate reporting and analytics.

Minimum Requirements:
Education:

•  3 year Diploma in Project Management/Engineering/Business

Experience:

•  3 years’ operational experience in the planning, coordinating and monitoring of programme reporting
•  In depth understanding of Telco infrastructure and processes
•  Worked in environments with large data volumes
