    Professional Officer Office of the HRBP

    Requirements

    • A relevant Degree
    • Five (5) years relevant experience
    • In depth knowledge of relevant Acts, regulations and systems and procedures pertaining to the Human Resource discipline
    • Computer Literacy
    • Driver’s licence
    • No Criminal record

    Key Performance Areas

    • Provides comprehensive Professional HR advice and support to Department management in execution of HR/OD action plans in Departments.
    • Guiding, advising and communicating the understanding of HR policies and procedures to Line Managers.
    • Monitoring compliance to Labour legislation and assisting
    • Departments with the management of IR matters (including Incapacities) in conjunction with Corporate Employee Relations Department.
    • Providing guidance and advice on staffing strategy needs within the Directorate.
    • Guiding and advising line on the Performance Management process.
    • Coordinating all T & D matters in conjunction with Corporate Training & Development.
    • Providing guidance, advice and ensuring compliance on matters related to advancement and job evaluation.
    • Guiding and advising on OHS matters within the Directorate.
    • Coordinating various HR transversal initiatives within the Directorate (e.g. rewards and recognition; culture audits; change management; business improvements, etc.).
    • Maintaining HR data (staff movement, IR activities, headcounts, absenteeism, EAP referrals, and other ad hoc reports required and metrics for reporting).
    • Monitoring compliance related to personnel admin matters (e.g. Time & Attendance, overtime management, sick leave management, essential user, cell phone allowance, etc.).
