Procurement Specialist - ESD (Fixed Term Contract) at Sappi

We’re on the lookout for an experienced Procurement Specialist - ESD to provide support to coordinate sound cooperative relationships between procurement and its internal stakeholders, through effective relationships, which enables effective procurement and implementation of BBBEE initiatives.

As a Procurement Specialist - ESD you will be responsible for:

• Assessment of the local SMME landscape within Sappi’s local communities
• SMME Information gathering within the local communities
• Basic business assessments to asses business capacity and capability
• Basic business assessment using the tool provided by SAPPI
• Business advisory and support services
• Ad hoc advisory services to SMMEs in relation to their businesses, it could be regulatory or operational in nature.

What are we looking for:

• Three (3) year degree or diploma in Technical/Engineering or equivalent qualification,
• Five (5) years’ experience procurement experience,
• Must be experienced in Enterprise Development/Business Management/Procurement Analysis and Transformation -B-BBEE
