    Process Control Engineer

    Job Description

    • As a Process Control Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in leading all aspects of all activities related to electric, electronics, equipment process control, and connectivity.
    • Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that maintenance, modifications, and improvements of equipment within your scope are implemented cost-effectively and with specified quality. Through data analysis and tool maintenance, you will ensure compliance with PMI standards and lead overall performance to achieve customer satisfaction.

    Your ‘day to day

    • Sustainability: You'll ensure compliance with all PMI and legal standards, policies, and guidelines related to Environment, Health, Safety, and Sustainability. This includes fostering a safety culture, promoting preventive/predictive approaches, and reporting any situations requiring action to minimize risks.
    • Equipment Optimization: Your role involves optimizing process control by implementing proper procedures for adjustments and calibration. You'll identify compatible devices and consult with suppliers to ensure they meet process control requirements.
    • Installation and Commissioning: You'll coordinate activities related to the installation and modification of production equipment, updating technical documentation with the latest modifications or improvements. Additionally, you'll support qualification activities and alignment to relevant validation procedures.
    • Data Management: You'll create and maintain data records, ensuring data integrity, and requesting master data changes as vital. Furthermore, you'll lead technical development initiatives and participate in digital projects aimed at improving safety conditions, quality, and equipment effectiveness.
    • Operations Technology (OT) Engineering: As an OT Engineer, you'll collaborate with the Information Security Operations team, ensuring data integrity and availability between machines and IT components. You'll also chip in to vulnerability management and perform backups and maintenance plans.
    • User Training and Support: You'll provide continuous technical support to production personnel, ensuring optimum operating conditions of process control and supervision systems related to production equipment. Additionally, you'll provide coaching to other technical specialists and take ownership for completing your training plan.
    • Communication: Effective communication is key in your role. You'll communicate timely on loss elimination priorities, plans, and responsibilities to ensure multi-functional alignment. You'll also share knowledge and methods to encourage benchmarking, reapplication, and continuous improvement.

    Who we’re looking for

    • You have a bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical Engineering
    • You have a minimum of 2 years working experience in the similar/specialized role in controlling and optimising manufacturing processes
    • Validated experience with wide autonomy and independently led high complex projects
    • You have solid experience with machine automation
    • You are driven, committed and hard-working to level up standards and has strong analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
    • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
    • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
