    Performance & Planning Manager - Cape Town

    Purpose of the Job

    • Provide planning, budgeting & forecasting and decision support for the division with specific focus on performance measurement & management to enable achievement of business objectives.

    What you’ll have done before:

    Baseline:

    • NQF Level 7 qualification (Degree: Commerce) BCom Finance or BCom Accounting or equivalent
    • 8 years’ experience of which 3 years in accounting experience at a specialist level, 3 years’ experience in Supply Chain and 2 years ETRM experience
    • Deep knowledge of the Supply Chain operations
    • Demonstrable strength and flair in financial accounting/IFRS
    • Ability to work successfully in an ever-changing environment and navigate ambiguity.

    Advantageous:

    • Post-graduate qualification in accounting
    • Experience within the manufacturing sector
    • Oil & gas experience

    • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to support the overall Supply Chain strategic objectives.
    • Provide recommendations for course correction to the business and business performance enhancement.
    • Lead various projects as part of the functions of your role.
    • Ability to work successfully in an ever-changing environment and navigate ambiguity.

    What you’ll be doing

    • Conduct business & financial analysis to comprehend business drivers, risks and opportunities.
    • Consolidate, analyze, plan, and report financial and management and performance results to enable effective business decisions.
    • Formulate management reports in line with Engen Group and Supply Chain requirements.
    • Analysis of the full Supply Chain business (Income Statement and Balance Sheet).
    • Analysis of the key Supply Chain performance indicators.
    • Formulation and management of Supply Chain working capital.
    • Plan, coordinate the development and consolidation of the divisions business plans and budget aligned and congruent with strategy, incorporating set financial targets for each department ensuring alignment.
    • Forecast the annual budget requirements and manage the division’s OPEX and CAPEX plan to ensure deliverables are met as per relevant requirements and KPIs.
    • Providing internal and external stakeholders with relevant support.
