    Payroll Specialist

    Job Description

    Given our recent rapid growth and global expansion, this is a new role within the finance team will be critical in coordinating and managing payroll services Globally while operating with the Global and US Payroll Specialist to support the international group globally, delivering change and improvements progressively whilst ensuring we work in a compliant and systematic manner.

    The Payroll Specialist is responsible for the timely and accurate provision of payroll services, managing payroll providers for a primary scope of international countries, and providing back-up for a secondary scope of international countries. The role will be responsible for implementing and monitoring all necessary controls, approvals, reconciliations, compliance, and reporting, and facilitating change and continuous improvements.

    Responsibilities will include:

    • Responsible for the compliant provision of payroll services, pensions and payments, including being the key contact in resolving queries escalated by the People team.
    • Manage payroll service providers, monitor performance and make recommendations for consolidation, improvements and be the subject matter expert for the payroll function, providing input into the payroll strategy to drive quality and productivity improvements in the service provided.
    • Comply with payroll and regulatory requirements, including regular compliance, taxation and related submissions and look to operate standardised processes in the financial system, managing the interactions with the operational systems, People team and operational teams as required
    • Manage the payroll administration in conjunction with our payroll services providers globally, including periodic payroll run, reconciliations, end of year processing, and maintaining accurate records for audits.
    • Lead the interaction with the People team and support the management and review of efficient financial processes in the payroll cycle, interacting and as key financial contact and subject matter expert

    In addition, you will demonstrate these key competencies:

    • Demonstratable global experience in payroll services for multi-national group;
    • Delivery of process improvement and change;
    • Knowledge of payroll, taxation and pension requirements and compliance
    • Experience in Managing International Payroll scope
    • Experienced in Microsoft office products, particularly excel
