    Payroll Officer

    Job Description

    Are you a meticulous, Excel-expert with a passion for payroll management? Do you excel in high-pressure environments and take pride in ensuring seamless operations behind the scenes? If so, we invite you to apply for the role of Payroll Officer on our dynamic team!

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Monthly Payroll Processing: Handle input processing, reconcile discrepancies, and ensure timely salary payments for all employees.
    • Employee Records Management: Oversee the complete employee lifecycle, from onboarding to termination, including benefits processing and accurate record maintenance.
    • Reporting: Generate detailed reports to support budgeting, financial planning, and compliance with statutory requirements.
    • Leave & Employee Self-Service (ESS) Management: Accurately manage leave records and payments while maintaining the efficiency of our Employee Self-Service system.
    • Technical Proficiency: Stay abreast of advancements in payroll systems and legislative changes to ensure compliance and efficiency.
    • Employee Support: Provide responsive and friendly assistance to staff queries, fostering a supportive payroll environment.
    • Benefits Administration: Oversee updates and manage queries related to medical aid, group life insurance, and health insurance.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Matric essential
    • Related qualification beneficial
    • Minimum 3 years’ experience in payroll management with solid experience using PaySpace.
    • Advanced Excel skills
    • Familiarity with BCEA and SARS regulations.
