    Role Description

    • We’re looking for a talented Paid Media Campaign Manager who loves what they do, enjoys working in a team and takes responsibility for the paid media campaigns for the clients they manage. You will need to optimise, execute and manage digital campaigns utilising platforms, third party and internal tools as well as plan paid media campaigns across multiple platforms. You will also be responsible for demonstrating measurable success through the achievement of set KPIs, producing high quality client-facing reports and managing the day-to-day relationships with account teams, clients, advertising partners and colleagues. 

    Salary

    R35,000 per month 


    Responsibilities

    • Plan paid media campaigns across multiple platforms 
    • Optimise, execute and manage digital campaigns utilising platforms, third party and internal tools, as required to deliver as per KPIs
    • Critically analyse the performance of campaigns, identify strategic opportunities to optimise, facilitate changes to hit and exceed client expectations and KPIs
    • Project manage all activity and processes required to proficiently implement, optimise and report on campaigns
    • Produce high quality client-facing reports, studies and presentations including measuring forecasts vs actuals and clearly articulate rationale for optimisation methodologies throughout campaigns
    • Develop client insights, reporting, and analysis to inform our campaigns, as well as conduct in-depth keyword and website research, ad grouping and audience targeting
    • Maintain an in depth understanding of digital media landscape to ensure delivery of best-in-class campaigns
    • Manage day-to-day relationships with account teams, clients, advertising partners and colleagues
    • Work cross-departmentally to align campaign strategies and goals across the organisation
    • Pro-actively contribute and support the team with research, insight and support around datasets that lead to effective paid, or cross-channel, media strategies and tactics
    • Build effective and logical media plans based on brief
    • Develop and update the paid media campaigns to include the latest tools, technology and techniques
    • Work with data suppliers and other 3rd party data experts to deliver clear data visualisations of reports for clients 
    • Demonstrate measurable success through the achievement of set KPIs. E.g. account turnover and profitability, campaign management, report generation/analysis and overall service
    • Optimise campaign performance across RTB platforms, striving to consistently refine tactics and produce exceptional results 
    • Interpret attribution modelling and 3rd party analytics data 
       

    Requirements

    • 3 years’ working experience across Google platforms (GMP, GA and GTM) and social platforms (Social, PPC and Display)
    • An in-depth knowledge of the technologies and processes involved in running paid digital campaigns 
    • Knowledge of display advertising, specifically real-time bidding, ad networks, DSP platforms, attribution models, and associated technologies 
    • An in-depth knowledge of the technologies and processes involved in running PPC campaigns (knowledge and experience of using GMP)
    • Knowledge and experience using Facebook Power Editor, Twitter Ads Manager and LinkedIn Campaign Manager 
    • Must be Facebook Blueprint Certified and must have completed the Twitter Flight School Program 
    • Completed Google Advertising Exams (search, display, mobile, video, shopping, app and analytics)
    • Completed Google Marketing Platform Exams (display and video 360, search 360, campaign manager, GTM)
    • Must have strong experience with both Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
    • Must have a fluent understanding of Google Analytics 360 Suite, the key benefits and how to leverage the Google stack
    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
    • Exceptional attention to detail and organisation skills 
    • Must possess strong business writing skills and able to produce high quality documents
    • Must demonstrate a structured and methodical way of working, with the ability to cope with competing demands and effectively prioritise tasks
    • Must possess strong software skills that support the delivery of high-quality client facing documents
    • A proven track record of successful paid media campaigns 
    • In-depth knowledge of the various paid marketing channels and technologies
    • Experience in handling paid media budgets from 4 – 6 figures
    • 3 years’ experience of reporting and providing ongoing actionable insights and learnings into campaign performance
