    Ops Co-ordinator

    Purpose of the position: 

    Effectively handle the administration and financial function, within the Distribution Depot and the completion of all reasonable tasks to ensure the operational efficiency of the Depot, and to assist and support Distell’s endeavour to create superior customer service.

    Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to:

    • Effectively manage the daily administration function within the Distribution Centre.
    • Involvement in preparation of budgets and forecasts, including monthly co-ordination of Opex spends and variance analysis.
    • Perform Distribution centre capex and abnormal maintenance function. 
    • Effectively co-ordinate the monthly internal audit function for the Distribution centre
    • Stocktake involvement.
    • Maintain a high level of customer service and efficient handling of queries.
    • Improving business processes to ensure achievements of Business Objectives

    The successful candidate must have the following qualifications, skills and experience:

    • A relevant tertiary qualification 
    • Up To 6 Months minimum total years of relevant experience in FMCG Logistics / Distribution Environment
    • Computer Literacy in MS Office, SAP
    • Experience meeting tight deadlines.
    • Excellent communication skills (both written and oral) and sound presentation skills
    • The ability to work in shifts and after hours (when necessary)
