Officer, Database, Control at Standard Bank Group

JOB DESCRIPTION

• To update and maintain all vehicle manufacturer information on a central database in order to enable the Fleet maintenance consultants to correctly control repair times and pricing for motor dealer requests.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous franchise motor dealership experience, preferably within the parts department working with parts supply, vehicle warranty and administration.
• Experience in the full spectrum of the operation of the motor vehicle industry.
• Experience as a service advisor in a franchise dealer group with parts knowledge and understanding.
• 5-7 Years experience

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• Engages with original equipment manufacturers (OEM’s) (e.g., Ford, Toyota, Volkswagen, etc.), Fitment Groups (Supa Quick, Tiger Wheel & Tyre, etc.) and other major groups (e.g. Barlow Group, McCarthy Group, etc.) every quarter to ensure that relationships are maintained and obtains latest data for system 3270.
• Captures OEM and Fitment Group visitation dates with minutes of meetings to keep team aware of Manufacturer Group changes and information.
•  Supplies maintenance rates to the Full Maintenance Lease (FML) department and tender departments.
