    Manager, Programme

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    The successful incumbent will be responsible for the overall coordination and implementation of programs that are in line with the organization strategy in relation to the thematic focus areas for The Tutuwa Community Foundation. Develop plans and budgets for the thematic areas, identifying strategic partners, monitoring & evaluation of programs and giving feedback to the Operations and Programme Co-ordinator , staff and Partners.

    • Manage the Tutuwa Foundation programmes
    • Demonstrate the Tutuwa Foundation shared value through Stakeholder Engagement
    • Enhance the profile and visibility of the Tutuwa Community Foundation
    • Management of Budgets, Reporting and other governance requirements

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Degree Social Sciences, Community Development
    • Project Management

    Knowledge & Skills required:

    • 5-7 years in Programme Management  or Community Development would be essential. 
    • 1-2 years in Project Management for general projects and or events

    • The ability to identify, source, analyse, disseminate and store information relevant to the business

    Project Management

    • Ability to plan, initiate, execute, control and close projects related to a relevant function.

    Managerial Budgeting

    • The ability to plan the work unit budget and manage income and expenditure, through responsible implementation of policies, practices and decisions.                        

    Project Reporting

    • Knowledge and skills to produce project status reports including progress, risks, issues, resource allocation and benefits realisation.                         

    Team Working

    • This competency is about working well in a team.  In order to develop this competency, individuals are encouraged to acknowledge the views and contributions of others, and to involve others in decision-making.

    Thinking Positively

    • This competency is about the extent to which individuals are optimistic, the extent to which they display cheerful behaviour in the workplace and how quickly individuals are able to recover from setbacks.
