    MANAGER - Head of Business Analysis Africa (1T)

    Job Description & Summary
    A career in Information Technology, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to support our core business functions by deploying applications that enable our people to work more efficiently and deliver the highest levels of service to our clients. You’ll focus on managing the design and implementation of technology infrastructure within PwC, developing and enhancing both client and internal facing applications within PwC, and providing technology tools that help create a competitive advantage for the Firm to drive strategic business growth.

    Our Business Analysis - Practice Support team oversees Information Technology project lifecycles to help align our Information Technology solutions with our business needs by identifying and addressing gaps. As a part of the team, you’ll help optimise opportunity cost, document the right requirements to create solutions that meet user needs, improve efficiency by reducing rework, and shortening project timelines.

    HEAD OF BUSINESS ANALYSIS | AFRICA ONETECHNOLOGY
    Key Tasks & Responsibilities:


    IFS ONETECHNOLOGY DEPARTMENT – HEAD OF BUSINESS ANALYSIS

    • Is the custodian of all Business Analysis Policies, Procedures & Templates?
    • Is the Change Manager responsible for change management & communication in the Business Analysis COE.
    • Is the Project Lead of business process improvement projects and initiatives in the in the Business Analysis COE.
    • Lead Business Analysis Team to deliver solutions accords all Cross Line of Service ICT Portfolios.
    • Shall source in best practice from the PwC Global (& industry standards) & translate it to local PwC Africa standard for process improvement.
    • Ensure team is sufficiently resourced and skilled to deliver on all LoS projects.

    STRATEGY DESIGN & EXECUTION

    • Define, Manage & Ensure effective execution of the Business Analysis Strategy.
    • Define, Manage & Ensure effective implementation of the Business Analysis Centre of Excellence.


    GOVERNANCE AND TEAM MANAGEMENT

    • Manage & Implement the Business Analysis Strategy.
    • Manage & Implement Business Analysis Centre of Excellence.
    • Manage & Lead the Business Analysis Team. (Manager(s), Senior and Junior Associates)
    • Manage & Monitor the Performance of each Manager(s), Senior and Junior Associates. (Business Analyst)
    • Identify and recommend best suited training for all Business Analysts.
    • Ensure effective reporting of all team members.
    • Manage & ensure effective support and guidance for all Business Analysts.
    • Determine & Sign-off all Business Analysts KPI’s
       

    MATURITY REPORTING – MONTHLY, QUARTERLY & ANNUAL REPORTING

    • To report Weekly status updates and Quarterly progress report to the Associate Director of Business Change and Service.
    • To coordinate, consolidate & prepare Annual BA Centre of Excellence Maturity Report on team members performance report
       

    SOLUTION ANALYSIS & DESIGN

    • Lead and Guide Business Analyst on various business solution designs.
    • Lead and Recommend best practice solution design methodologies for Business Analyst.
    • Designs complex processes and reviews the work of Senior Business Analysts | Consultants.
       

    CONTRACT MANAGEMENT

    • End-to-End Management of Consultant (external) contracts
    • Organise & conduct supplier forums to give feedback on contactor performance.
    • Negotiate contracts(rates) with vendors and service providers.
    • Periodic six-month review of various contractors.

    CHANGE MANAGEMENT

    • Participates in and lead change management activities associated with projects.
    • Engage Leadership and stakeholders to obtain support and buy in for changes.
    • Partner with management, project champions & process owners to align process improvement initiatives with business objectives.

    MENTORING AND COACHING

    • Mentor Snr, Intermediate and Jnr Business Analysts or OneTechnology Staff Members
    • Coach Snr, Intermediate and Jnr Business Analysts or OneTechnology Staff Members
