    Manager: Fleet (Re-advertisement)

    Job Purpose

    • The management of the CPUT staff, student and nursing services transport system. The management of CPUT vehicle
    • Fleet, comprising pool, maintenance, service, and emergency vehicles as well as the complement of pool drivers.

    Job Knowledge, Skills and Experience

    •  National Diploma in Fleet Management and/or relevant equivalent qualification (NQF 6)
    •  Relevant Fleet operations management experience in the management of similar fleets (minimum of 7 years experience)
    •  Experience with legal contracts associated with passenger services and/or fleet management
    •  Management of higher education transport services would be an advantage
    •  Knowledge of the administration, management, and monitoring of passenger transport contracts
    •  Basic knowledge of finance and accounting (including software)
    •  Sound knowledge of fleet management systems
    •  Sound knowledge of fleet Risk Management
    •  Basic knowledge of surveillance systems

    Recommendation

    • B-tech or equivalent qualification in Fleet Management/Road Transport Management (NQF 7)
    • Work experience in Higher Education
