Maintenance Section Engineer at Watershed Consulting

Overview: The engineer will ensure that Engineering and Maintenance procedures and practices are optimized which will ensure Overall Equipment Effectiveness and Cost Management

Duties:

• Safety and legal compliance,
• Maintenance management,
• Root cause failure analysis,
• Corrective actions and improvement management,
• People management and development. 
• The incumbent will be responsible for a broad range of mechanical engineering technologies and will be required to lead the Mechanical Team to maintain and optimise the life cycle cost of the assets performance.

Requirements:

• B Eng, B Tech, Mechanical Engineering
• At least 4 years of experience in an engineering role responsible for people management. 
• Legal compliance certification in terms of the OHSAct
• Training in Maintenance Principle and Practices
• Management Development training with more than 2 years of experience in a management role.
• Computer literate
