Purpose of the Job    

• To co-ordinate and assists the Facility Manager with issues pertaining to the Distribution Centre. Maintenance as well as working closely with contractors are their main responsibilities together with handling of queries and reports so that the Facilities Department operates effectively.

Job Objectives    

• The Coordinator assists the Maintenance Manager with issues pertaining to the Meat Processing Plant's maintenance as well as working closely with contractors to ensure that handling of queries, issues and reports so that the Maintenace Department operates effectively.

Qualifications    

• Grade 12
• Relevant Diploma / Certificate
• Relevant Maintenance Certificatification or relevant

Experience    

• 2-3 years Supervisory/Coordinating experience
• 2 years retail experiene preferably within a Meat Plant / Meat Processing Plant

Knowledge and Skills   

• Knowledge of operating procedures within a Meat Processing Plant
• Knowledge of maintenance and repair work
• Good understanding and co-ordinating of work
• Mathematic Comcputer Literacy
• Knowledge of MHE; Boiler Maker or relevant
• Product knowledge
• Technical terms used within a Meat Processing Plant
• Maintenance schedule
• Maintenance of boilers and other related machinery
