    Life Outbound Sales Consultant: Sanlam Direct Cape (PG 7)

    Location: Bellville, Western Cape, South Africa

    What will you do?

    1. Selling products telephonically
    2. Achievement of sales targets and objectives
    3. Adherence to Quality and Compliance processes to minimize business risk
    4. Manage your quality & compliance against benchmarks to minimize business risk, with the client in mind
    5. Maintain optimal operational efficiencies based on productivity measures
    6. Adapt and change to fit in with changing business operational requirements
    7. Resolve complaints and objections
    8. Build and maintain good client relationships
    9. Managing information regarding new products, rate changes, rulings, training updates etc.
    10. Keep abreast of developments and trends in the Industry – self learning
    11. Ensure commitment to the FAIS Fit & Proper qualification requirements
    12. What will make you successful in this role?

    Qualification & experience

    1. Grade 12 or a relevant NQF 4 qualification
    2. 2 years’ experience within a Sales Outbound Call Centre, or at least 2 years’ face to face sales experience (with targets attached to the sales)
    3. Financial services experience (advantageous)

    Knowledge and skills

    1. Good understanding of Financial Services Industry related legislation and regulation
    2. Understanding of sales processes and servicing industry
    3. Outbound Sales experience is required
    4. Fluency in English and one other South African official language
    5. A clear criminal and credit record
    6. Commitment to the FAIS Act and meeting Fit & Proper qualification requirements
    7. Willingness to work overtime
