    Lecturer

    The successful candidate will be responsible for the following key responsibilities:

    • Teaching and learning at an undergraduate level and postgraduate level on Psychology Honours and Masters  Clinical Psychology programmes.
    • Research supervision of Psychology Honours students.
    • Research supervision of Masters level students or co-supervision if the applicant does not have a PhD.
    • Clinical supervision of Masters level students.
    • Psychometry supervision of Masters level students.
    • Teaching Psychological Assessment at post-graduat level.
    • Participation in research, curriculum development and staff development.
    • Engaging in community outreach.
    • Responsible for administrative duties within the department, faculty and the university.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology.
    • Current registration with the HPCSA as a Clinical Psychologist.
    • Three years post-registration experience.
    • Evidence of publications in peer reviewed journals.
    • Demonstrated experience in psychological assessment and/or neuropsychology.
    • Experience with clinical supervision in either therapy or psychological assessment.

    Added advantages 

    • PhD in Psychology or progressing towards a PhD.
    • Experience with research supervision/co-supervision at Masters level.
    • Experience with research supervision at Honours level.
    • Experience in teaching Psychological Assessment and/or Neuropsychology.
    • Experience in psychometry supervision.
    • Experience and interest in neuropsychology.
